 At the southern end of Alykes bay you will find the resort of Alikanas with a beautiful sandy beach. 
In fact although Alikanas and Alikes have almost merged there are two beaches here - the northern beach has a harbour, the southern beach is a longer sandy stretch. 
This
is also the location of interesting archeological findings (Mycenean
ceramics) which suggests that this is one of the possible locations
for the ancient city of Arcadia. |
