Vassilikos is more accurately a region of the peninsula rather than
a particular village.
The road south from Argasi to Porto
Roma takes you past houses and villas spread over five kilometres.
There are a series of beaches
here, including Dafni, Sekania, Porto Zoro, Banana and St. Nikolas,
a mecca for watersports fans.
Many of the beaches in Vassilikos are accessible by rough (often
precarious) tracks so a car is often essential. These are amongst
the quieter beaches on the island but well worth the off-road driving!

Buses run from here to Zakynthos Town
three times a day and most of the accommodation in this area is
private villas.
If you stay here, get up early for a spectacular sunrise over the
Peloponnese, then head off for a sunset dinner at Keri!
